The first , second, and possibly third-place finishers this month will lay hands on one of the following prize packs. (I)Comedy Anime (DVDs all): Genshiken volume 1 Excel Saga volume 1 Pani Poni Dash volume 1 (II)Action Anime: Ninja Scroll volume 1 Akira (VHS special edition)* Tekken (VHS)* Neon Genesis Evangelion (VHS episodes 3-4)* *english dubbed (III)Comedy Manga: Yotsuba& volume 1 Full Metal Panic volume 1 Lupin III volume 1 Lights Out volume 1 (IV)Action Manga: Tenjho Tenge volume 1 Tough volume 1 Jing: King of Bandits volume 1 Devil May Cry 3 volume 1 Blazin' Barrels volume 1 Whether or not third place deserves a prize or not is something which depends partially on who gets into the semifinals, and partially on how good the consolation match is. Which brings me to another point. If at all possible, record your matches and send them to me. Any level of quality is fine (I recorded the finals on a handheld camera mounted on old volumes of Dragonball). I know it's difficult to do, especially for an online tournament, but I want to get them on YT and start winning us publicity. Frankly, with some of the smash talents I've seen in this club, it'd be a shame for us to not start advertising our existance. Edit: Y'know what, I'll do this. 5+4+2+1= 12 is the theoretical number of matches we'll be having this season. If at least 6 of them get recorded, I'll give out out a third-place prize no matter what happens. |
