A bosomed book or another shield-imitator was predictable. Next ep. Yutaro returns to Japan and I hope things will move faster. |

| This was a good little story arc. Better than most of the mini arcs from the first 1/3 of the series, IMO; at least the villains weren't generic true evil bad guys like Raijuta or the rest. I knew from the beginning Tetsuma would end up being the true "villain," though. I feel bad for the leader of the Beni Aoi, though; he wasn't a bad dude, just unfortunately mislead. Side note: I can't fathom why Sano hasn't used the Futae no Kiwami in any of his fights since the Kyoto arc. |

| Pretty decent ending of this "arc", whilst it was quite a boring and slow arc, it was still pretty enjoyable! Let's see what's next. |

I feel like these later arcs have been better than the beginning. I'm not sure why people dislike the post-Kyoto stuff so much. I think it might be what's coming up, this stuff with Black Knights and Feng Shui sorcerers. I don't know though. The book saving Daigoro was pretty cheesy. Like, it kind of makes sense, but it was a total tonal shift from the end of the last episode. Tetsuma being the bad guy was kind of obvious. I really thought Kaishu Katsu would die or something at the end here. Pretty good overall if a bit typical and maybe a bit too many symbolist scenes of moths (even if they were kind of cool actually). |
