Post links to your favourite poetry-related websites, whether they be for information, or community, or publishing...

You may also link to your profiles on said websites. :)

My community of choice is Allpoetry
My profile: here
I highly recommend this one. It's got fun contests, a point system (you earn points by winning contests and leaving comments on other poems), pixel trophies on your author page, and other neat stuff. I have over 100 poems there, the majority of which were inspired in some form by the website (usually through contests). :D There are also clubs, and poetry classes... a great place for learning new forms and improving your writing skills. It also has a few sister sites, one being for stories. :)
Okay, I'll stop gushing now...

I am also a member of Poetbay
My profile: here
It has a much cleaner look than AP, and has its own benefits (also has a section for art, and for published works). I only post my best writes there, but since I'm not active I don't get a lot of comments. :/

A useful information site (which has its own community): ShadowPoetry
I'm not a member, though. I just use it to look up the rules for poetry forms.

That's about all I have for now. How about the rest of you?

Ah, thank you very much! :D Yeah, that's one of my better works. ^_^

I've heard of Fictionpress (had a friend who used it) but I've never actually tried it myself.

Now that I visit, I see the striking similarity to Fanfiction.net... must be run by the same people! That's rather interesting, since I'm on FF.net (though I haven't uploaded anything there yet).

Cool, I'll try reading some of your stuff soon. :3

I used to use WritersCafe.org, which is poetry and fiction (and probably creative nonfiction, though I haven't visited the site in ages). People always gave me really good feedback, it's not just one of those "here's my stuff, give me compliments" kind of sites.

yeah, i knew fictionpress thru fanfiction because i used to put my stuff there. but then i think they decided to set fanfiction.net solely for fanfics and created fictionpress for all the original fiction

Oh yeah, sorry about that - my profile is here.

Disclaimer to avoid embarrassment: I haven't logged on in a long time, so all those stories have been reworked and revised a dozen times. But if you're curious about what a first draft looks like, there you go. :P

Well, Konnichiwa!
Never thought I'd find such a place as this. But hey, this is all good. I'm somewhat of a poet. I ususaly go to http://www.shadowpoetry.com/ , but I'm a member of http://www.poetry.com/ as well. However, I've been published 5 times, and am working on my 6th book. I usually get published thru Poetry.com, but also from another editor.

As of yet I'm trying to get set up with a few magazines, including Reader's Digest. I have heard of Fanfiction.net and Fictionpress, however I've been publishing on MediaMiner.org, and you may visit me here: http://www.mediaminer.org/fanfic/src.php/u/76956

It is a pleasure meeting all of you. I'm not a frequent of the forum, so you'll not see much of me there, so either comment on my profile page or send me a private message.......for I enjoy making all kinds of new friends. Hope to hear from any and all of you soon! ^_^

my profile at fictionpress is http://www.fictionpress.com/~cloakofshadows

So far it's the only thing I used to get my work out there since it's more of a hobby than anything.
