| so why doesn't he just yell at the top of his lungs until the guy wakes up? he doesn't need majority rule for that, nor does he need to enter the arena when its not his turn :/ also, that guy is being a selfish retard. It takes no real effort or loss of honor to slap the guy awake and ask him to forfeit, if he can't even do that much then he has no business thinking he can be a bounty hunter. He'll have to do much worse things than that to get the info he needs to even find his targets ffs :/ not to mention that killing someone who earned a sentence in ecxess of 100 years is probably doing the world a favor (if the guy refused to give up/wake up for some reason). |

| Not bad. I kinda figured one of the candles would just be blown out. The candle match reminded me of The Princess Bride movie from the 80s when the guy had to pick between two glasses of wine knowing one of them was poisoned. He kept trying to figure out the unpoisoned one, made his choice and we learned both glasses were poisoned. The guy who set up the match just had an immunity to the poison and couldn't die from it. Pretty clever! |

| God Leorio is annoying with his constant yelling... and Kurapika acts all high and mighty even though they might all fail the exam if he doesn't act again? What an idiot. |
| Gon’s way of winning was very funny. After all, Kurapika kind of has his reasons, but c’mon, if you want to be a hunter, you’re gonna get through this kind of situations, I think that must be the main objective. Leorio is kind of emotional and noisy, but they’re just wasting time. |

| Yeah, the flesh tone on everyone is discomforting. I guess Togashi never explains why all these characters are the way they are but the studio took too much liberties with that. The animation in this show is bad and in this episode it was extra bad. Being made in 1999 isn't an excuse when there are tons of shows from that era that are much, much better made. 2/5 |
