| Publisher Shogakukan announced on their website that the 54th volume of manga "Shijou Saikyou no Deshi Kenichi", set to be released November 15th, will come bundled with an anime OVA. The OVA will contain two episodes and will focus on the battles of Shinpaku Alliance vs. Yomi, Miu vs. Rimi, and Takeda vs. Lugh. Source: Shogagkukan website |

| Wait what? They're jumping to those fights? What happened to DDD tournament? Kenichi vs Boris? vs Tirawit? vs Ethan? And a ton of other arcs and fights? At least they could have animated Shigure's backstory since they animated Appachai's. The previous OVAs were still animating the chapters that directly follow the TV series and then a big jump to these. Just...wow. Second season is pretty much impossible now huh. At least we're still getting these OVAs I guess. It should be next to impossible to see these fights even get animated as these are in the 490+ chapter range. And I believe it's Lugh. At least that's how scanlators translate the name. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |
