| This show is awesome. I had read the manga before, and the anime follows it basically chapter by chapter, scene by scene. One of the most faithful adaptations I've ever seen. But, what about the actual content? The story is very original in it's premise. Every girl was different and entertaining, each one exploring some different character archetypes like the jock, the himedere, the idol, and the bookish dandere. My favorite of them were Kanon and Shiori. Their routes were probably the most emotional, and Keima had to go to more strenuous methods to get to them. This show is really funny. Keima's seiyuu is fantastic, and not an episode went by that wasn't amusing. It's really remarkable how the show didn't have a single lame joke in it. This show is a must see for fans of the manga, and is probably even more enjoyable for those who aren't. Overall- 8 |
