| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Aww Maki and his childhood was a nice glimpse to take a look at. The quote of "Tokyo is fun, everyday is dream" really makes this episode a bit captivating. Epic episode, loved those rapid turns in the tunnel scenes. |

| Eiji is definitely enjoying his 3 months here in Tokyo, the bustling and lifestyle of the people, his part-time career at RGO's mechanic shop, all the skilled racers and all the professional tuners are all here, and thanks to the connections he has as both a tuner and a driver, he managed to experience it all, to the point that had he decided to permanently stay in Tokyo, he would probaby be marying the cute mechanic girl as well as being inherited a part ownership of a rather big-named mechanic shop name such as RGO. Alas, he decided to return to his family once it's over, but that's later. For now, it's a high-octane race between the Devil Z, Blackbird and the Lan Evo! |

| "How can a 4G63 engine of a Lan Evo feel so good?" It just does until it doesn't and when it doesn't it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to rebuild/replace. That being said, I'm surprised I haven't heard a turbo spool this entire series - I would've at least expected some from the GT-Rs or twinturbo mk4. I don't know if these EVOs are running turbo'd 4G63 engines so it never occurred to me until they said that line^ |
