| I have no idea why marionettes would be equipped with functioning tear ducts, but I consider details like that secondary to telling a good story. Perhaps this show is cliche, perhaps it's also cheesy. Regardless, it's also extremely honest and straightforward, and through its blunt storytelling, I'm actually fond of all the characters. With Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry specifically, they don't have any past traumas or backstories, as their lives began after they were made operational during the course of the anime. As such, everyone we know about them is what they experience in the show itself. Because of this, the show was able to focus more on developing them through their present time. |
| So that was the plan all along.. Ieyasu you dirty dog. Also it was not explained so far why does Otaru look identical to the first Ieyasu... Oh man them feels! |
