| I saw whole anime (but no books, I read First in english). OK, children are borned on trees (Riboku), but what about sex. I can truly imagine world without connection between sex and children. All world orgies every day. I didn't see it. In other way, if there's no sex but what's meaning of genre differences (breasts etc) or ordinary man-woman relantionship (high sexual ground)? OK, understand. Tentei wants human as he is, with unneedful sexual signs but why everybody (including kirins) are very ashamed by nudity? I don't know :-/ but (I'm sure) there is something what I overlooked |

| I see it this way: long time ago, before 12 kingdoms as we know now was created, everything was similar to our world (I mean the children were born in traditional way). But as that world began to rot, Tentei decided to build the world once again. Doing this he changed this and that... invented kirins, planted few trees that give birth to the children, and so on... Despite this, sex in 12 kingdoms still exist - king En would have something to tell in this mater ;P Public houses are rather popular in 12K (beware of houses with green pillars!:P). As for example here you have screen of beautiful courtesan: Few words about children - as I remember, if someone want to have a baby, he/she has to be marry (I guess), and than the couple has to make a ribbon, which they will tie on the tree branch. The fruit with their child will sprout exactly in the place, where ribbon is. |
