Possible Angel Beats! Reference?

So I just watched Little Busters Episode 24, and Komari tells them the story about the boy and the girl that solve the dwarfes' worries, making them disappear. Is that a possible reference to Angel Beats!? Since Yuzuru and Kanade help their friends from the SSS get over their problems from their previous lives, making them disappear. I googled it but nobody seems to have "noticed" this. Do you guys think they made it like this with this "easter egg" or reference intention or was it just coincidence. And both are from the Key studios. Thanks

Angel Beats was technically made after Little Busters. The LB VN came out in 2007 and AB came out in 2010. Angel Beats was just Jun Maeda trying to see what he could make with the same idea.
