| Well, to start with - I've allways had this thing for wild redheads and silent blondes. I REALLY love angst in my yaoi. That's one of the main reasons why Akuroku is my favourite couple of all times. And I think everyone can relate to these chatacters in one way or another - Axel getting left behind and Roxas putting finding someone important infront of his love. We've all been there. That only makes the chacters more loveable and real. Don't even get me started on the emotions the voice actors of Axel and Roxas gives with just using their voices. (Talking about the japanese ones right now. Quinton Flynn, yes, you do rock, but Jessie McCartney ruins the whole Roxas-image D':). Uh yeah. I'm tired. But my very sleepy point is that it's hard to say why we love them, we just do. It's hard not to love them when you see that spark of an emotion Axel shouldn't have been supposed to feel dwell up in his eyes at the mere sight of Roxas. Me? Obsessed with Akuroku? Hell yeah. ; ) |
| I always loved that "best friend" love, and with how Axel expresses how he'd miss Roxas when he left and how Roxas made him feel like he had a heart made me go "Awww~". I also love the angst =w= <333~ |
