I would like to know what you like about the amazing Dr. Jizabel Disraeli.

Personally, i love his twisted sense of morality, and his obsession with his half-brother.

So please contribute and add what you like about him. It can be anything!

yes yes! i agree! he fascinates me so much because of his old naivety and innocence, that changes into a hatred of humans. but he still retains some sense of innocence.

Jizabel is my all-time favorite character, and I think that I like him so much because I understand him the most out of all the characters in GodChild. Even though his sense of morality is quite twisted...I still see where he is coming from, especially in his love for animals and hatred of humans, because there are times when I feel the same way. No worries, though, because I don't go around killing people. ^_^

I compleely understand where you're coming from there, Rosiel.

I guess my favourite thing about Jizabel is how multi-faceted he is - at times he's the perfect Victorian villain, and at others he's still just a child. He fascinates me and is probably my favourite Kaori Yuki character from any series because he has so much depth...I mean, Cain has depth but when you get down to it, he's a good person. In Jizabel, it becomes tricky to work out.

Annnd another thing...I love his relationship with Cassian. By which I mean how they interact with one another and whatnot - I find them a much more beautiful and tragic pair than Cain and Riff. I have no idea what these forums do about spoilers but lets just say that book 8 clinches that for me.

Yes! I love Jizabel and Cassian! :D Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Cain and Riff fan as well, but I prefer Jizabel and Cassian for the way that they complement each other.

And like you said, I love the fact that Jizabel can go from being cruel and ruthless to being a much weaker, more helpless child. It makes me want to go up to him and give him a hug...except that I would probably get a scalpel to the chest...:D

i agree with both of you. jizabel is just so fascinating for how much depth there is to him and his ruthless and yet also completely innocent attitude.

and thank you both for actually replying!!! ><

I would, i would! they are definitely a pairing i support!! >w<

do you like Cassian better when he looks like a child, or when he later?

i think i prefer him as a child, but it doesn't really matter all that much since he is still Cassian :3

If you have a FF.net account be sure to spread the word there, it's our base of operations ;)

My favourite Cassian stage is his post-hobo stage :P So, after his operation but when his hair has grown back and he looks nummy. Like how he is at the end of book 8 when...ehh, you know. *cries* I think he looks gorgeous there...he rocks Cassandra's body more than the original occupant did.

But my second favourite Cassian is little, boymanthing Cassian XD He's just adorable and awesome.

book 8..... i read that and simply froze. the entire thing was so... *sob* T.T but so beautiful too!! ><
plus little cassian has all his wonderful knives and such >w< can't resist a young boy with knives!

you have one of the most adorable avatars ever!!!! >W<

and i do have a FF.net account, but i only have one thing on it, my sonnet. i have rarely gotten the chance to do much else T.T

XD Exactly. I'd have been seriously pissed off if Alexis had killed him directly...or Riffael. Or nyone XD And if he died in anyone OTHER than Cassian's arms...*revs chainsaw*

XD I suppose so, but you know...alright, here it becomes clear that I think about Godchild WAY too much. But anywho, I was talking with some other fangirls once and someone put forward the idea that without Delilah, Jizabel would probably have gone mental. As in....REALLY mental. I think our reasoning was that cause he was basically controlled by Alexis his whole life, without him and without the structure of the organisation, he might have felt a little unhinged and...well, lost it.

Although here we came up with many a lovely 'Cassian rehabilitating Jizabel into Society' scenario

XDDD that would come up with that, wouldn't it.

that's an interesting thought. it's true that jizabel was a little..... nuts, but if alexis had left him alone in the first place, he wouldn't be as bad. he made little jizabel EAT his best friend! (i actually re-read most of the series yesterday looking for pictures ^^) alexis really seemed to be the root of the problem, at least to me. but as he grew older, yes, delilah was necessary for his sanity; particularly cassian *wink wink*

XDD

I like the way you think.

Alexis really is the problem, yes. You know my epic fic I posted? The whole idea behind that is basically how Alexis is the cause of everything wrong in Jizabel, and how he's trying to escape...(it wasnt what it was MEANT to be about, but whatever XD)

Such an evil, evil man. Le grrr.

he makes us all.... but we mustn't forget that it is Augusta that is the real cause of all that's wrong with Alexis and later Jizabel through Alexis. Augusta is the true root of all the madness and evil ><

XDD that sounds like me! school work is very annoying ><

it is sad, but yes he does XP
augusta remains dead through most of the series, and only shows up in a couple flashbacks...... plus she's pretty. he didn't seem to get the same beautiful genes that augusta and later cain and jizabel ended up with X3

Haha yes, it's clear which side of the family they got their pretty from XD Though Jizabel's mum never looked that pretty to me...0.o Odd.

I hate the way her severed head pops up all the way through volume 8. It freaks me out big time.

she didn't really. maybe the hargreave's pretty genes skipped a generation to jizabel? whatever the cause we got our gorgeous, twisted doctor out of it X3

it's a pretty freaky.... but it's weirder when she's in alexis's body *shudder* that really freaked me out.
