| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This arc’s conclusion was just about what I had expected in that feel-good sense, but Kaori talking to Ryo again at the end was a bit of a surprise. I had assumed that the last time she showed up just to let Ryo know that she was there, but I guess she can talk to him whenever Shanin is sleeping and their hearts are near each other. The arc itself wasn’t that great, partly because the villain wasn’t very good and partly because I think they’re over-emphasizing the father/daughter thing. |

| Well, Ryou had to intervene, but Xiang Ying realized that she was being reckless and even selfish trying to throw her life away like that. And even though Yume couldn't put it into words like Chen, she understood that Xiang Ying was being used as a "trigger" just like her father was, forgiving her. The melody of departure was beautiful too, I'm glad they could say goodbye. And thanks to Ryou Xiang Ying continues to let down her walls, feeling more and more safe around her papa. Poor Xin Hong though, here's hoping that she will fall asleep on his shoulders someday too. xD And I'm with Umibozu, Ryou should become more responsible now that he is a father. lol |
