| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "Like the Rain Falling on the City" -Techs This was an action packed episode. Ennil and her team came up with an excellent strategy. I also see they like fire a lot. Zakott must have thought he was pretty bad@$$ pretending to be standing on the water like that. In the end it amounted to deathrap + overwhelming force. Luckily, Jamil woke up in time, because he's the only competent stategist and came up with something. It seems like the two rogue Gundam pilots finally have their own reasons for being tethered to a ship, gold and a women. As does Garrod, who hopefully has finally accepted his role on the ship. Now I have to wonder about Ennil, will she become this series "loser nemesis"? Garrod really is an idiot, he should've tapped that. |

| Great episode, Ennil's strategy was indeed exellent. And I loved counterattack Jamil came up with. I thought it's gonna be the satellite cannon again to save the day but it was really clever. They even stoppen the spreading fire this way. |

| I'm starting to dislike all of this Moon and laser thing. They always use this as a last hope, and it's seem unrealistic. I know that I'm not watching a hard science fiction series, but come on! This series, unlike other Gundam, doesn't have a political conflict or something like that, but I'm enjoying it a lot. Mostly because of the characters, they are so adorable! Tiffa and Garod are a lovely couple <3 And those brothers... they seem to have a romantic view of war. I thought they were going to be better developed, but I guess I was wrong. Well, it can change in the next episodes. |
| I laughed so hard when Garrod said "DA DA DAAA the ultimate mobile suit pilot Garrod Ran has come to save the day with the Gundam X" What a show off. xD Looks like we will see a newtype character next episode. |

| Even though stuff happens the plot just isn't interesting, we barely know anything about all the charcters. |

| It feels like they have introduced way too many characters already 9 eps in and looks like we'll get a newtype character in the next ep...they need to slow down and actually develop the cast they already have instead. The only character I like so far is Jamil. |

| Pretty good fight, even if I'm not a big fan of the lunar laser deus ex machina. The brothers are interesting antagonists and the main duo is growing on me. |
| Loved this episode, garrod and tiffa are so cute togheter, i hope their relationship proceeds well. I also like a lot the secondary characters, including Ennil and maybe not Sara. |

| There was some cool imagery in this episode, but I didn't get much from it. It feels like there are too many fights with little really behind them. |
| "The boy chooses to remain a boy a while longer, and the girl is slowly becoming a woman little by little. Garrod has put his solitary life behind him, and Tiffa has begun to reclaim her humanity. The year is AW 15. Their journey has only just begun." So ends another arc. Truth be told I don't understand Ennil's character as a villain towards Garrod, like is she angry because of losing the GX even though she won the bid last time.. or because a kid is willing to reconcile his relationship with someone his age and not.. you know an actual older woman? Really weird. But she is pretty smart in their battle overall. Anyways, nice to see the crew back together, and I really like the end of the battle with Garrod using the satellite beam to hit the sea to trigger a steam explosion and immobilize surrounding forces, under Jamil's instruction, showing that not even an injury can slow down the original captain of the Freeden. Overall, I'd say a pretty interesting end as well as build-up for the Frost brothers as returning antagonists later on. Can't wait to see them battle the crew again. Looks like Garrod got his punishment after all, except not in the way he expected either XD Good to see him and Tiffa back together and reunited again. And it looks like we'll be seeing more of the remaining Newtype in the coming episodes! |
