Here, you can talk about the classes that you prefer.

Do you prefer the sword-swinging martial classes? Or do you like to deal with the enemy from a distance as a spell caster? Or maybe you like to support the group as a cleric or a bard? Whatever your thing is, come here and let us know.

Cleric. They can do almost anything. Plus the whole "I'm divine" angle is interesting.

Really? Knight seemed a little underpowered to me for all the restrictions from the code of conduct you have to follow.

Depends on which system you use, but in 3.5 (my favorite), Crusaders > Knights.

A code of conduct is quite any easy thing to work around. You don't have to a pussy with a code!

Paladin. That's my favourite.

I also like the Cleric and the Druid.

Has anyone tried Gesalt, your two classes instead of one and then can multi into a tird while still leveling one of the other classes. Mostly for few player counts but the endless possibilties are extrme!

Sorcerer with the Dragon Disciple prestige class. (It's very powerful, especially later in the game)

My favorite is definitely Fighter but I like to try new things.
I just stay away from those who require a lot of spells (Wizard/Sorcerer, Druid, Cleric,...).

Wizards are my favorite. Then Rogues/Thieves.

My first D&D char was named Aleric [class: Thief]. Back in AD&D 2nd Edition. Got to level 14 in three years of campaigning. Ah, nostalgia.

Bard is my favourite class...
...but if I would have to play long and probably hard camping rule by some cruel GM I would choose standard Paladin (long sword + heavy shield) :)

But when team is about to create I usually adapt to the other players - when need is for rogue/cleric and "someone gotta be"... ^^
