Dear all members,

I've received an invitation to this club through one of the existing members, [shinkoukistar], and we both decided that all London MAL members should meet up sometime =)

I know the anime Expo in October has just passed, so there probably won't be much for us to do when we do meet up, but it should be fun, hence I am asking for opinions on this now; we haven't decided on an actual date yet, but should be around February ?

Everyone is most probably poor from buying Christmas presens and all, so err yeah =)
Also, above, i said London members but anyone who feels free to travel from abroad for this meet up is more than welcome to do so.

Meet up will include the following:
- a trip around soho
- maybe some shopping down the infamous oxford street ?
- we will check out Japan Centre by Piccadilly
- eat lots of yummy food =) *A MUST*
- [currently researching] the bookshops around soho for those who would like to purchase anime/manga for their collection =)

***If you'd like, we may also check out Oriental City in Colindale for anyone who's up for it .. may have to split into groups if there's lots of people***

Additional Info:

Mainly a book shop, but they also sell anime and manga related merchandise, and even have a few imported videos and games. Prices are high, but there is usually some unsold stock being cleared out cheaply.

Orbital has now a manga only shop in Upper Saint Martin's Lane, called Orbital manga (aah the originality...). Is way better than Forbidden Planet, because is cheaper and you can order stuff for free if they don't have it. some of their mangas are a whole £1 cheaper! wooo! and it's the only manga-only shop in London!
I'm up for the meeting, but i think Edgware Road and Soho in one day is a bit much because they are so far apart! :/
