I know there are at least 2 games for the PS2, but I don't have a PS2 and I never played a GGgame.
Yet still I'm interested what the games are like.
How strong are the connections between the games and the anime?
Are they even any good?
Did you play the games after watching the anime or did you watch the anime thanks to the games?
Many questions, now the the answers please! ^__^

Well I started watching the anime as a result of playing and completing both games. The games are very decent if you like a fast paced shooting game with the second one being the best in my opinion anyway (you can play as three different characters). The anime ties in with the first game, and most of the cast has a complete visual overhaul in the second game. Also the games are pretty cheap costing around 10-15 $ used or new.

The ending of the first game to the anime are VERY different. One is a emotional discussion that I found was quite epic in a way. The game one is a trip fest of a level and boss. The Second game is a sequel, in a way. Not a lot is explained, but it goes deeper into the origin of Necrolazation and Seed. Doesn't explain the hair change from white to black though. Also, the second lets you play as three different characters.

As for the games standards, not the best. You have to like the series overall to like them I find. From a reviewers point of view, it would not be all that great. I however love it. Going around shooting EVERYTHING that does and DOESN'T move. It's great when you play a game that in really in depth, get bored, and want to play something that's just absolute massacre and just plain fun.

I really want to play the first one >.< , but only for the story.....I have the seccond one but didn't liked the gameplay much........though it is fun for small brakes with a comfy seat , but you get bored pretty fast :[ , so I don't recomend playing it for like 5 hours straight , if you don't want to lost interest in it....

(............I'm not quite sure of what I said............)

I own and have completed both games(The last boss on overdose was a BITCH).
I love both of them. They ooze coolness. And the death animations for some of the bosses rock(A bunch of rockets to the chest...AT POINT BLANK RANGE)

Stop. Calm yourself. You're an idiot.

I own the second game and just ordered the first one. And what can I say, it's great! Simple, short, but you'll most likely want to finish it few more times again, just to unlock every bonus feature :D
