Synopsis

While in middle school, Haruna Nagashima threw herself into playing softball while secretly dreaming of finding romance, but without any luck. High school has just started for her, and she now has the perfect chance to fall in love with a potential boyfriend. But there's one problem—she has no idea where to begin!

On her first day of school, she accidentally bumps into You Komiyama, the most popular boy in the year. With his stunning looks, Haruna is positive he can help. The handsome boy reluctantly agrees to coach her about love under one condition: she must not fall in love with him. Under You's guidance, will Haruna be able to kick off her high school debut and find herself a boyfriend?

I have never loved a manga so much. This was way better than other manga I've read. Everything is a 10/10, but I was a bit sad that everything went too fast from the last 2 volumes, and I expected something more special to happen before, at the very end. In this manga, there is a lot of drama, but none of it felt unnecessary. It wasn't some useless drama in other anime/manga; they were genuinely having conflict for the good and changed for the better, which made the relationship grow, and if it weren't for those conflicts they had, they wouldn't have the relationship ...

Mixed Feelings
This had everything of a completely normal and stereotypical shoujo manga, so much so that I've forgotten what feels like half of it right after finishing it.

I'm not saying this was a bad manga at all, it was an enjoyable and light read with a cute main couple and funny dialogue, but that's all there is to it.

The plot is frankly unoriginal: Girl wants to change and get boyfriend in high school, meet boy, boy says "don't fall for me", they both fall for each other... Sure they did get together sooner than in most other shoujos, but that's about it.
Now for my bigger complaints... ...

Preliminary (2/62 eps)
I only read like two chapters of this and I couldn't stand it. The plot is stupid with the unoriginal "don't fall for me" trope . The fl is actually so male-centered and annoying it's infuriating. She doesn't have any real personality besides wanting male validation. The ml is also just plain rude and not interesting besides the classis "hot boy that no one can get" kind of trope. I love shoujo girls but this fl was insufferable and I would not recommend this to anyone that likes shoujo because in a good shoujo romance the fl actually has some kind of personality that makes ...
