Romantic Comedy Manga 'Jitsu wa Watashi wa' Gets TV Anime

Weekly Shounen Champion's 9th issue revealed that manga Jitsu wa Watashi wa will get a TV anime for this year. The series is written by Eiji Masuda and debuted in early 2013. More information will be revealed at a later.

Synopsis:
Meet Kuromine Asahi, "the man who can't lie." On the way home, he learns an important secret. His crush, Shiragami Youko, is actually a vampire!

Can Asahi actually keep her secret?

It's a fun, clumsy, one-of-a kind vampire romantic comedy! (Source: MAL)

It's a pretty solid, character-driven comedy with very little fanservice. And it has very nice character design, quite different from the norm and a bit reminiscent of early 2000's. I'll certainly watch the series.

Read some of the manga once. T'was good, but not gre3at. I might check in on the anime, 'cause what I read was actually pretty enjoyable.

Hell fucking yes. One of the funniest rom-com mangas.

Love all the people immediately dropping it for:
"don't like the art", "just another garbage harem", "Rosario vampire knockoff", "another shitty vampire story".

The ignorance of fucking retards who have never even read the manga is astounding.

And just looking at the people saying these things, and seeing their favorite mangas listed as One Piece and Hunter x Hunter and other generic trash makes it all the more laughable.

It's one of those series where you know it'll get an anime adaption, the question was when. Pretty lovable romcom in my opinion.

Saying that is like saying Macross is like Buck Rogers because both have spaceships. Having read the manga of both series I will say they have very little in common besides both being romcom and having monster girls.

I hope the character designs get a level up since many faces are too similar. I hope the series gets a good director (like the one that did Ika Musume) that can extract the best of the setting.
