'Starmyu' Gets Second Season for Spring 2017

It was announced at the end of Sunday's Starmyu in Bunkasai (Starmyu in Cultural Festival) event that TV anime Starmyu will be getting a second season. Those who were first years during the previous season, including Yuuta Hoshitani and others, will be appearing as second years. The series is scheduled to premiere in Spring 2017.

A two-episode OVA was previously announced to be released in July and September 2016. The first season aired in the fall quarter of 2015 for a total of 12 episodes.

YESYESYES!! I really enjoyed the first season and I'm so extra happy that their is going to be a second season. Although the wait is until next year... I can hold it cos at least it's officially announced!

Never thought I'd be so excited for a second season! x3 I never even thought I'd love the series as much as I did, but the characters were all so lovable I just couldn't help myself ;P <3

God dammit it's Starmu, you can't have half the title be a translation and the other half a transliteration when both words are loanwords. Why can't anyone ever Romanise shit properly? Argh!

They keep piling all this fujoshi shit on top of me and I can't take it anymore. Except that I can, and it is absolutely fucking glorious. Haters gonna fucking hate.

Finally got posted \o/ So happy about the announcement and that it's not the end yet because I lost all my applications for tickets to the event this time. Still, 2017 is a long wait >_<

Anyway the event is just called "Starmyu in Bunkasai", the "Next announcement" thing is a teaser line from the OVA announcement video so fans knew there was an announcement happening on 0529.
