TV Anime 'Teekyuu' Receives Ninth Season

The 13th compiled volume of comedy manga Teekyuu has announced that the TV anime series will receive a ninth season to premiere this Summer. The volume will officially be released on April 12.

The manga began its serialization in Comic Earth☆Star in February 2012 by Tsugeo Terada and Piyo. The first three seasons of the TV series were originally animated by MAPPA until studio Millepensee took over in 2015, animating the succeeding five seasons.

The spin-off manga, Takamiya Nasuno desu!, also received an anime adaptation, airing alongside the fourth season of Teekyuu in Spring 2015.

It has already caught up. It's why we had to wait for seasons 8&9. They likely need to wait for season 10 as they need 4 more chapters which means August and even Teekyuu might need more than a month of pre-production.

Also, I would be totally down for another season of a show focusing on Nasuno.

They barely have enough manga for the 9th season of Teekyuu. In 4 months they will have 120 chapters so season 10 will be possible.

Nasuno season two is possible but that's it as it ended after two volumes, sadly. Since the manga is finished they likely won't bother to make more anime for it.
