Manga 'Hitoribocchi no ○○ Seikatsu' Gets TV Anime Adaptation

At the end of the final episode broadcast of Mitsuboshi Colors on Sunday, it was revealed that Katsuwo's Hitoribocchi no ○○ Seikatsu (Hitori Bocchi's ○○ Lifestyle) manga will be receiving a TV anime adaptation. Hitori Bocchi, one of the main characters, will be voiced by Chisaki Morishita.

Synopsis
Hitori Bocchi suffers from extreme social anxiety. She's not good at talking to people and is surprisingly skilled at avoiding them, takes pretty extreme actions, her legs cramp when she overexerts herself, gets full of herself when alone, and often comes up with plans. Now she is entering middle school and her only friend, Yawara Kai, is attending a different school. This leaves Bocchi alone, surrounded by new classmates with whom she must make friends before Kai will talk to her again. (Source: Dynasty Scans, edited)

The 4-koma comedy manga has been serialized Dengeki Daioh's supplement magazine Comic Dengeki Daioh "g" since its first issue in September 2013. The fourth compiled volume was published by Kadokawa on February 26.

I was so excited when I heard the news last night! The manga is absolutely adorable, has amazing comedic timing and really lovable characters - it became my favorite right away! Can't wait to see it animated!

Inb4 viewers start complaining about Bocchi's character once the anime starts airing because of her constant insecurities. She has been all alone for crying out loud! Of course she would feel insecure! She must be protected at all cost! She deserves all the attention of the world!<3

Good news, been enjoying the comedy of this series. It does make me wonder if the show will be full length though given how short the chapters are.

Oh fuck yeah. This is great news. I had a lot of fun with the manga. Definitely one of the things I'm most looking forward to at the moment. Now I'm just hoping a decent group will pick it up.

yes they are, since both made by same author... this has more colorful cast tho... their name is their traits...

Well, in that case, I'll obviously enjoy this show too, because the Colors were just adorable.

yes they are, since both made by same author... this has more colorful cast tho... their name is their traits...
