'Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi OVA' Reveals Main Staff and Studio
Main staff members for Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi OVA were announced through its official website on Saturday. In addition to the staff, the website also released a new promotional video and revealed a key visual (pictured right). Himika Akaneya, Kaori Ishihara, Hiromi Igarashi, Akane Fujita, Manami Numakura, and Sumire Uesaka will reprise their respective roles from the smartphone game.
Studio Gokumi produced an original television series for Toji no Miko that aired in Winter 2018. The franchise has seen additional anime adaptations as well as other adaptations as part of an on-going multimedia project. These adaptations include a manga series, a prequel novel, a smartphone game, and a stage play.
The OVA will be based on the smartphone game Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomobishi, which is both developed and published by Square Enix. The game was released in Japan for iOS and Android devices on March 18, 2018. A PC port for the game was released a year later through the Shift for docomo platform.
