Synopsis
Hotaru Hinase is a first-year high school student who treasures her family and friends above all else. Unable to understand romance, she decides she will be content living without the experience of falling in love.
While Hotaru is spending time at a cafe with her close friend, she witnesses the relentless breakup of a handsome honor student, Hananoi. Encountering him sitting alone in the snow on her way home, she extends her umbrella to him in a gesture of kindness.
The very next day, Hananoi appears in Hotaru's classroom, asking her to be his girlfriend. Despite being rejected, Hananoi sticks closely by Hotaru's side, performing selfless acts in hopes of pleasing her. Hotaru begins to feel emotions she had never felt before. Believing that these emotions could blossom into love, Hotaru agrees to date Hananoi. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten: Shoujo Ver.
I didn't watch it in Shonen, so I surely won't watch it in Shojo. But it will probably make the cut for the "Generic Seasonal Romcom" that gets all the hype until next season's takes over.

2023 is a good year for Shoujo lovers. I am expecting more shoujo anime announcement in following years.
Happy for a condition called love because I like the series, and I didn't expect it to get an anime (since shoujo/Josei/Boys love series get a LA at best).
Now i'm also Keeping my fingers crossed for A sign of affection, in the clear of moonlit dusk, Honey lemon soda, Queen's Quality, My love Mix up, tsuiraku jk to haijin kyoushi, Uchi no otouto domo ga sumimasen, Hibi chouchou, , Bokura No Kiseki, etc

starts off pretty generic but has some pretty fantastic character development. Especially that whole "character who wronged MC in the past" cliche, this series has one of the best resolutions to that trope I've ever seen. tho don't think a 12 ep season would cover up to that rip
