'Wind Breaker' Season 2 Announced for 2025

The 13th and final episode of the Wind Breaker television anime announced a second season on Friday. The new season is set to premiere in 2025.

Produced by CloverWorks, the 13-episode television anime premiered on April 5. Crunchyroll streamed the anime worldwide with subtitles.

Wind Breaker adapts Satoru Nii's delinquent action manga, which began on Kodansha's Magazine pocket website in January 2021. The 17th volume was released on May 9, with the 18th volume scheduled to be released on August 7.

Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 2022. The 15th digital and sixth physical volumes went on sale on June 18 and June 4, respectively.

Synopsis
From an early age, Haruka Sakura was made an outcast due to his unconventional appearance and lack of social skills. However, the rough treatment turned him into a proficient fighter, which is now the only thing he prides himself on. Starting at Furin High School, where it is rumored that strength is valued over academics, Sakura has only one goal—taking the top spot.

Involved in a street brawl the day before his enrollment, Sakura happens to meet a group of his future schoolmates. Instead of the usual rejection, they fight alongside him, demonstrating that what the school actually cares about is protecting the town of Makochi from any harm—hence why the students call themselves "Bofurin." Surprised by the support and appreciation of the townspeople, Sakura has a hard time accepting their goodwill.

Though unfamiliar with kindness being shown to him, Sakura must learn to push past his discomfort when Bofurin is pitted against formidable enemies. After experiencing the feeling of acceptance, he finds himself fighting for the sake of others for the first time. [Written by MAL Rewrite]

@Softhenic03 teachers? Lol, judging by what they showed in the first season, I'm not at all sure that they learn anything at all at this school.

News to noone. It was initially listed with two consecutive cours, but then for some reason they decided to split it.

Finally, I really hoped for this. A lot of people loved the anime but said they were afraid to recommend it because without a second season it just wouldn't work in the end.
