Additional Cast for 'Yuusha-kei ni Shosu' Announced
The official website for the television anime adaptation of Shoukai Rocket's Yuusha-kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku (Sentenced to Be a Hero: The Prison Records of Penal Hero Unit 9004) light novel revealed additional cast members on Wednesday. Produced by Studio Kai, the anime is scheduled to premiere in 2025.

Patausche Kivia: Shizuka Ishigami (Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry)
Dotta Luzulas: Shun Horie (Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu)
Venetim Leopool: Shunichi Toki (Tokyo Revengers)
Rocket originally began penning the adventure fantasy on the Kakuyomu website in October 2020. Kadokawa began publishing the title under its Dengeki no Shinbungei label with illustrations by Mephisto in September 2021 and released the sixth volume in April 2024. The seventh volume went on sale on January 17.
Natsumi Inoue began serializing a manga adaptation in Dengeki Comic Regulus in March 2022. Kadokawa published the second volume in April 2024.
Yen Press licensed the light novel in English this February and published the third volume on August 20. The fourth volume is planned to be released on May 20. The manga adaptation is released digitally in English on the BookWalker site.
