Manga 'Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun' Gets TV Anime in 2025

WWWaveCorporation's Deregula animation label announced a television anime adaptation of Takuya Shinjou's Sawaranaide Kotesashi-kun (Don't Touch Kotesashi) manga on Tuesday, scheduled for a 2025 premiere. Shinjou drew an illustration to celebrate the announcement (pictured above).

Shinjou began serializing the sports ecchi manga on the Magazine pocket app in May 2021. Kodansha published the tenth volume in November 2024, with the 11th volume set to be released on March 7.

Synopsis
The protagonist, Kouyou Kotesashi, possesses exceptional massage skills and dreams of becoming a sports doctor. To secure a scholarship to medical school, he enrolls at Seiwa University Affiliated High School, a powerhouse in athletics.

Coming from a poor family, Kouyou takes up a live-in job at the school's dormitory to cover his expenses. However, he soon finds himself surrounded by a group of highly talented yet quirky female athletes. His role? Managing the dorm while also tending to their physical and mental well-being.

With a mix of intense training, close-quarters dorm life, and massage therapy, an unpredictable and daring new chapter begins!

@ryoko6 I do not know how popular the original manga is, but the first announcement of adaptation shortly before the premiere is not something strange.

wwwave are bringing back/focusing on ecchi but at what cost fr... hope the animation is okay

@Softhenic03 That is my concern seeing that WWWave is the producer. All of their produced anime is done by some no name studio. I really hope some good studio does it, preferably Passione(But it has too many upcoming projects) or TNK.

The manga isn't half bad, just a shame that MC's massage skills are more of an innate supernatural ability than something he actually mastered, so often it's hard not to roll your eyes. Censoring will probably kill this series though. "Sexless hentai" like that can only work as an OVA.

Let's gooooo. So damn happy. I really hope there will be zero censorship because otherwise there is no point adapting the manga. Hopefully this will wake up Kodansha to give us an English paperback release.

That's a pretty interesting premise, despite being seemingly generic. I guess we'll get a lot of tomboys, which is good. Definitely gonna check.

I've just caught up with the most recent translated chapter today. This anime has the potential to be great if the fan service is done right.

In the manga, there is nudity, so I expect that there will be an uncensored version of the anime. The success of the show will depend on the voice acting and the fan service of the girls being massaged in lewd ways.

I would recommend the manga if anyone is interested.

Quite interesting and understandable premise in the framework of the setting. But its surprise me that we began to receive much more classic harem shows in the past couple of years. Producers really need so much anime that we observe the revival practically of all historical trends?
