'Cyborg 009' Manga Gets New Anime Adaptation

Ishimori Pro announced an anime adaptation of Shoutarou Ishinomori's Cyborg 009 manga on Saturday. Titled Cyborg 009: Nemesis, the anime commemorates the 61st anniversary since the original manga debuted.
Ishinomori launched the action sci-fi manga in Weekly Shounen King in July 1964. The manga ran in multiple magazines over the years, eventually concluding its regular serialization in Weekly Shounen Sunday in 1981.
Toei Animation produced the first television anime in 1968, followed by a second anime adaptation in 1979. A 50-episode third anime adaptation aired from Fall 2001 to Fall 2002.
The manga was also adapted into an anime movie in 1966, 1967, 1980, and 2012. The Cyborg 009: Call of Justice trilogy premiered in Japan from November to December in 2016.

I think a big difference is that every Cyborg 009 remake has a different story from the last rather than just adapting the manga, only The Cyborg Soldier was a mostly faithful adaptation, everything else goes for their own takes, so it doesn't feel as egregious as most remakes. And agreed on the Astro Boy remake idea, it would be cool to see it come back.

Keep them remakes coming. Also, assuming this will be a TV anime, this is going to be the third time it's getting remade, and the fourth TV adaptation of the manga. People complain about something getting even 1 remake, and saying it doesn't need a remake. This is already getting remade a third time, and the last time it got remade was in 2001, which was in this century. I guess it's possible for other anime that already have a remake to get a second remake then, if the first remake was released over 15+ years ago. We might be seeing another Hellsing remake in the future then. I'm surprised the original Dragon Ball doesn't even have 1 remake yet. I guess it doesn't need a remake, but then again, Cyborg 009 doesn't need one either, but it's still getting a third one.
Also, they should remake Astro Boy again.
