'Mato Seihei no Slave 2' Reveals Supporting Cast, Second Promo

The Jump Studio stage for Mato Seihei no Slave (Chained Soldier) revealed nine supporting cast and a second promotional video for Mato Seihei no Slave 2 (Chained Soldier Season 2) at Jump Festa 2026 on Saturday.

The second season adapting Takahiro and Youhei Takemura's action fantasy manga will begin airing on January 8 at 11:00 p.m. on AT-X, followed by Tokyo MX, BS Asahi, and MBS.

Tobera Azuma: Shiori Izawa (Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo)
Yumina Azuma: Saima Nakano (Undead Girl Murder Farce)
Takemi Azuma: Serika Hiromatsu (Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life)
Sorako Azuma: Ai Kaneta (Yuusha ga Shinda!)
Kaiko Itsuki: Anna Yamaki (The iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors)
Saki Tokoroyama: Hina Kino (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto)
Riu Myouga: Sayuri Sadaoka (Kanojo, Okarishimasu)

Masafumi Tamura (Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei suru) is directing the second season at Passione and Hayabusa Film, replacing Junji Nishimura. Keiya Nakano (Hitoribocchi no Isekai Kouryaku) is designing the characters, replacing Hiroyuki Yoshii.

Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun 2) is returning to handle the series composition. Kohta Yamamoto (86) is also returning as the music composer.

The first season, produced by Seven Arcs, aired in 12 episodes in Winter 2024. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime in North America and simulcast it on HIDIVE.

Takahiro and Takemura began serializing the manga on the Shounen Jump+ web magazine in January 2019. Shueisha published the 19th volume on September 4.

Yen Press licensed the manga in English in December 2021. The 13th volume went on sale on December 16.
