The official website for the television anime adaptation of Firehead's Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! (A Wild Last Boss Appeared!) light novel announced a second season on Saturday, revealing an announcement promo.

Firehead began penning the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2015. Earth Star Entertainment started publishing the series under its Earth Star Novel imprint with illustrations by YahaKo in February 2016 and released the ninth and final volume in April 2019.

Tsubasa Hazuki began drawing a manga adaptation in Comic Earth☆Star in June 2017. Earth Star Entertainment shipped the 11th volume on November 12.

J-Novel Club licensed the light novel and manga in English for digital release in April 2020 and January 2021, respectively. The light novel's ninth and final volume was released in July 2022, and the eighth manga volume went on sale on December 3.
