EGOIST was a Japanese J-pop music unit consisting of vocalist chelly and composer Ryo (from supercell). Chelly was chosen alongside Koeda out of 2,000 applicants during supercell's 2011 audition.
Chelly was chosen to be the lead singer of Egoist and provide the singing voice of Inori in Guilty Crown - but she did not voice act the character.
The group disbanded in October 2023 after farewell concerts.
The former EGOIST vocalist "chelly" now performs under the stage name "reche" since June 2021. She was born on April 12, 1994 (currently 31 years old).
