Ah that's completely understandable, you don't have to worry about NANA having that kind of scene as they don't really show it in the Anime.

Don't worry you're not weird, i love one piece but i completely understand why you wouldn't like it, and I don't have the right to criticize your taste as each people has their own tastes, but i also agree with you, Shounen Anime aren't as interesting as before now, newer Shounen aren't my type, the older ones were better, of course there are still some good ones like Frieren, but the most popular ones right now such as JJK, Demon Slayer or MHA, i honestly think they're pretty mid story wise, i don't hate them but they are definitely lacking compared to older Shounen.

I'm pretty open with any genre except for BL and GL I'm not into those stuff as it makes me uncomfortable (i know it's weird coming from someone who watched degenerate stuff). Shoujo Animes are actually good, you definitely should give one a try, but I'm not forcing you though.

That's completely understandable. I highly recommend NANA to start off, if you haven't watched/read it yet, it's quite heavy, but it's generally the main point of the series, the atmosphere is different and the story is pretty mature. I think it will be a good start for you if you're planning to get into series like Domekano, Scum's Wish or Love and Lies.

i totally agree. as the saying goes "a man's trash is another man's treasure" I really believe he made this garbage series for People like me who simps over an Anime character and doesn't give a f*ck about the plot as long as they put some hot girls in it haha (i should be ashamed but who cares), its also the reason why i loved Domestic Girlfriend, truly a dumpster fire but i didn't really care if it was garbage. Although I'm not like that most of the time, i obviously care about plot and stuff, there's just some exception like the series i mentioned.

Ah about Rent a girlfriend, it's just my inner simp taking over, i didn't really care about the trash story and main character, i literally just watched it because the female casts were really beautiful, i guess you could say its a guilty pleasure for a degenerate like me, and i think its obvious considering how much Ecchi animes ive seen, otherwise i wouldn't give it a high rating as well haha.

hmmmm thats tough! i think the majority of titles i would recommend you have already watch them:

-Maybe fruits baskets, its mostly focus on overcoming traumas but it also focus on romance, it is a full adaptation, the pacing is slow.

-dont know if you have watched this movie Josee to Tora to Sakana-tachi, it is a romance, its kinda cliche but i liked it.

-Maybe boarding school juliet, but the manga. Is another funny/silly rom com.
