Unfortunately. It's like they had one job but didn't do it just so that they could do more convoluted stuff and give characters a happy ending we know they probably won't actually have. Plus, that CGI for half of the films was just not fun to look at.

You planning on seeing the new recap films?

It also feels like despite the main point being to explore the EU (one of the 3 major factions in the show that was basically never explored proper), it really didn't explore the EU much and tie into R2 when those Knights of the Round claimed to have conquered them. I simply hate the new cast and how it constantly called the existence of R2 into question with the decisions made in these 5 OVA films.

lol I feel that Akito already dampened the franchise for me. I'm not sure why this sequel exists but yeah, I guess all we can do is make like the Black Knights and pray for a miracle.
