About my rating system:
- Mainly I follow the mal guidelines (10 is a masterpiece and 1 is appaling)
- What I will give a show though will depend mainly on how much I enjoyed it since rating is all about opinion so even if something is considered good if I find it boring I will give it a low rating.
- 5 for me is basically it was fine but I got bored.
- Anime with too many fillers get minus a point of what they would get, and I also give lower ratings if they end on a cliffhanger and then just stop.
- Finaly sometimes I change the rating I have given a show after some time has passed if I find that it was more memorable or forgetable than I first thought.

Me too. It was also an enjoyable anime, just rushed (just like some of the other series this year). But I think people had much frustration about the pacing is also because of the first half being very slow, but everything about that half were pretty much some of the good moments, although it could have been better if the series removed episodes 2 & 4, so the series could have invest some time on some points of the latter half, especially on introducing the characters on the second half in a proper way.

I have seen your review about Charlotte, so I could/may answe the reason why: Charlotte has a very poor pacing specifically on the 2nd half of the show where events felt totally rushed to the point that I cannot invest my time knowing the other characters other than the main five. Also, have you watch Angel Beats? The main characters are basically some of the characters existed in Angel Beats. For instance, You Otosaka and Yuusaru Otonashi, the main protagonists for both series are the same, only differ in romantic love interest (in Angel Beats, it's Kanade. In Charlotte, it's Yuri in the form of Nao Tomori. There are some more reasons but I think if you haven't watched Angel Beats, better watch it and see the similarities.
