Takamura vs. Hawk was such a unique fight, absolutely worth it. As for me, I really love the match between Ippo and Sendo in the final episodes of the first season; it’s on another level. I also enjoyed Mashiba vs. Ippo, but the first one conveys a powerful sense of solidarity, truly remarkable.
Yeah you are right, the characters in Gintama are really well written. There isn’t a single one you could truly dislike, each of them is given proper depth and significance in the story, with their own impact.
