I'm a recent convert to this wonderful, horrible side of animation, and have had many great and some terrible experiences with anime. I'm Moe Trash and a Yuri Stan, and I'm proud of it, but I dip my toes into whatever strikes my fancy. My eternal enemies are the deluge of Imouto shows. Don't date your sister, kids! In real life I'm a history major, and am always interested in the social impact that anime can have, and its potential to improve, or worsen, our understanding of past, present and future. But mostly I watch anime to remind myself to be optimistic and get in touch with my more emotional side; hence all the moe.
