I don't rate all the anime I watch and I sometimes modify some of them, but I only do these when I'm sure I want to. Probably if I have an anime without any rating is because I'm not sure about it.

My 10-scale can be read something like this:

10/10: It's what I like to call, a perfect anime. A 10 doesn't actually mean perfection because a 10 goes from 9'5 to 10 and you can always say that an anime can't be perfect and bla, bla bla... What I mean by this is that this anime is completly SOLID. It's unique, it's performance is awesome, and it's probably great in every aspect imaginable. It's the point where the anime does its thing so well that you stop careing about it's problems because now you can only admire the authors magnificence.
Not only a must-watch but also an anime probably worth rewatching everynow and then.

9/10: Excellent anime, that you have to see. It's probably enjoyable, deep and beautiful enough to be a 10/10 anime but it's not that perfect. If it's here is because, maybe it has some issues or some things don't work as they should, but even then, it's one of the best animes you can see.
Go watch it, you won't regret it.

8/10: It is a great anime. It has something that peeks from the rest, it's unique it's probably really enjoyable and it might have some plot issues or some clunky aspects but it doesn't hurt the final product by the way it's executed.
An anime I would definetly reccomend you seeing it.

7/10: Here is probably a good anime that wanted to go a little bit further and made it. It doesn't blow your mind but you can tell it is a good one, and maybe in some aspects it will be on deficit, it doesn't fall apart. Just by staying still and highlight a little you can reach here.
You wouldn't have to see it but it's quite cool and you'll enjoy it and learn something from it.

6/10: The deffinition of "good" anime. It's be bellow average, so you know it's not the best thing in the world, but it is indeed an anime that does it things right and shouldn't bore you. It might not be deep, it might not be unique, but it's not bad and it's not pretentious. It just knows where its place is.
It won't probably be the best choice for you to watch, but I'll assure you that at least you'll enjoy the ride.

5/10: I don't fucking know. If I gave this anime a 5 it's probably like those kids in high school that the teacher passes because they actually desserve it but they just wanted to pass and not go any further.
With maybe some exceptions, I wouldn't reccomend this anime but you can try it so maybe you find some good things in it.

4/10: This is where the anime has crossed the line of "bad anime". The visuals, the history, the characters... they might be trying as hard as they can to make things right and the result, well isn't awfull. It's just bad. Here resides mostly pretentious anime and anime with good potential but that all in all it's not even enjoyable and probably has serious issues in it.
If you're going to watch it be prepared to get dissapointed.

3/10: This is the note for the animes that are bad, buy you can also tell that they're not even trying. It probably sucks and couldn't be better even if it tryed.
It's one of those animes you'll be happier skipping and spending better your time.

2/10: Here you can expect an anime so bad that I couldn't keep watching even trying my hardest. It's probably, in my opinion, a horrible anime.
You can assume that you DON'T want to see this anime.

1/10: A special place reserved for shows that aren't just awful, but also offensive. If I feel disgusted with a show by the time I'm done with it, this is where it goes.
If it's here you should definetly cross it frome ever seeing it.

One important note is that for me, for an anime to get higher than a 5 it has to stay stable and don't mess up in any aspect. The score doesn't reflect an average of scores on the different aspects of the show. This is important because you can watch an anime which has a very good animation and drawing, or a high quality soundrack, but hate the character development or the story and so, rate the anime with a 4 or less.
