Your review on Kakunaru Ue Wa was 100% on point! I've had similar grievances with it and even tried moving past it, hoping it would improve only for it to become even worse. It seems sometimes people just don't have an eye for good writing and stories when rating a lot of these mangas.

My ratings are for specified genres and what they represent, Kaguya sama tried to be what it is not i.e. it extended its boundaries meanwhile Rent a girlfriend describes itself for what it is, although sh*tty in many parts, it never tried to be different.

Classroom of the elite had a better 2nd season overall, the weekly wait was worth it, and the anime build-up episode by episode, hence the rating. I read LN mostly of the plots that aren't gonna get a 2nd season so I waited.

Not everything can be perfect, I just rate animes on the basis of how they make me feel at that particular moment when I finish them, what were the pros and the cons, and do the cons overweigh the pros?

And Thanks for your comment here :) I generally don't write reviews of MAL since the UI lacks lustre, but sometimes I do .
