>Ghibli Streak
Oh wow, funny you mention that- since the seasonals aren't so brutal on Mon and Tues I wanted to get in some Ghibli flicks I missed over the long tenure of anime and Whispers of the Heart is the one I got scheduled next! I also gotta see Howls, which if you can imagine, I've never seen yet.

This is an interesting one to me, but overall I think it was kinda lackluster as a complete package? Best way I can put it; I think the animation and ambition are impressive and the direction choices for some of the action sequences were impactful, and as a fan of old anime, I can see the quality and effort, hell- even talent, put into them. Regardless of overall quality- the animation is real smooth, and as a fan of the medium, I respect that.
>Touhou
lol, the massive sink-hole of Touhou lore, games, music, art, figures, etc- happy to hear you're seeing the appeal, let me know what's catching you're eye, and while you don't HAVE TO, lol, lets just admit.
Now that you mention it, I do remember that happening. Becky was the sweetest girl too. Ah, you did the Creamy Mami completionist route. That's awesome. Such an incredible show.
Glad you are enjoying it. The subject matter is kind of crazy for a children's show. The way it handles bullying, body-shaming, single-parenthood, divorce, death, gender insecurities, and even mental health disorders is really incredible. It realistically portrays these things and refuses to pull any punches. It hits so differently than other dark shows because it feels so realistic and relatable. Somehow I think the world would be a better place if more children watched it. If I had to choose I would go with Hazuki, but Aiko is a close second. Onpu is also great. Really they all have their own charm.
Awww thanks <3. I see you're watching Doremi. I'm finally finishing up Dokkaan(final season). It's one of my favorite anime. I would love to hear what you think of it if you feel like sharing.
