ahh i see what you mean. i think the movie appeals to more of a mature audience, which is probably why i didn't enjoy it as much bahaha. since i'm a cheesy hopeless romantic, i prefer watching the romances that are cute with happy endings :,) i'm also into some physiological horror, but i've honestly never seen a "scary" anime. like ever. any recommendations?
nah, i personally think it ended perfectly. that goes for most studio ghibli movies though. miyazaki is such a beast when it comes to satisfying endings :,)
