Yeah lol, I was also thinking of watching Neon Genesis Evangelion sometime, and I also need to watch some Ghibli movies. I just haven't been able to get to it yet because I still have quite a long list of things I want to watch.

I would definitely suggest watching older series, the oldest you have seen is 2009 lol and one 2010, personally id recommend monster, cowboy bebop, trigun, Beck: Monolian Chop Squad, and Neon Genesis Evangelion
