Yeah, I won't deny that the series was a bit overhyped, but I feel that it swung the other way and got a little too much hate so quickly.

Still, it made for a nice series with some good character growth and some lovely visuals. I need to focus on rating anime that I completed for the first half of this year and when I get to Shikimori, I'll give it a 7/10 as well.

Shikimori herself is a lovely character, but I have a soft spot for Hachimitsu, so that's why episode 10 was probably my favourite of the anime. Someday in the future, I should check out the manga and see if I enjoy it better there. =)
