I’m currently training to become a pro boxer. I also train taekwondo for fun and lift weights the reason i mention this is because anime & manga serve as an efficacious type of motivation that helps me get through intense training and helps me stay disciplined,non complacent,and consistent thus why I’m so passionate and grateful for this form of media because I really do incorporate it into real life.

I only rated a total of 22 anime’s 10/10 masterpieces here on MAL you can find 12 of those anime’s displayed down here, the other 10 are currently my top 10 anime of all time and those of course are displayed on my anime favorites section.

Farewell Shinsengumi is a perfect arc (as are all of them imo), and Utsuro's perhaps the most well written tragic character ever. Dunno if I'd call him a badass before I'd call him psychopath personally though, but his inner-turmoil and war with himself a la Shouyou is fucking peak for sure. Worth the loss of sleep, as long as you make up for it later. But I've been there too brother, I've knocked out while reading it, and then it carried onto my dream lol. PS - you motivated me to pick up Lain and I fucking loved it, goated
