Hi dear santa, and happy new year!

I haven't had time to sit down and watch your recs yet but im planning to eventually pick up both of them!
I tend to be pretty inconsistent with keeping up with seasonal anime, so it feels like i barelly have paid attention to anything past 2018 lol. I didn't even know about the vampire anime and it sounds right up my alley after i finish rewatching gintama and crave that kind of dumbassery!

Kimetsu no Yaiba is my disappointment of the year. The anime is beautiful. The manga is ordinary. The protagonist is hard-working. Most other characters are crazy. The heroes fight against demons. Both get stronger with every battle... Nothing new.
I've read an interview with the first editor of the manga and I know, that the most ordinary story width traditional martial arts, swords & demons is the feature of the manga. But why is it so popular? Don't know.
PS: Some people says that it's like Dororo. It's not.

Now I watch Fairy Tail. I read so many negative reviews about it. Too simple story, poorly characters. But It's Shounen! Friendship, emotions, human moral values, good rivalry are important there. And here is it. I watch the anime for emotions, & they are cool.
It's my second long Shounen anime, & may be I just like this genre. But it cancels nothin.
Not my favorite Gintama, of course. But I like Fairy Tail!
And it's funny that any people give bad marks to the anime, but they watch it to the end! And total mark is very good =)
