Haha, I knew you’d like it. Yeah, it’s honestly a really great anime, amazing animation, a very strong art direction, and above all, a really engaging story. Especially the flashbacks, and in particular the MC’s one, I really loved it, it actually moved me haha. We were seriously spoiled. I really didn’t think the season would start this strong, Jujutsu Kaisen is clearly MAPPA’s favorite child lol.

Yeah, it just proves once again that Hideaki Anno is a true genius. He managed to create such incredible endings, and what’s even crazier is that each one actually has meaning. The dude is a freaking genius lol.
And yeah, the Rebuild movies have a happy ending. It felt a bit weird when I saw it for the first time, I was like ‘is this really Evangelion?’ But honestly, that ending makes perfect sense with how the story was reworked. And it feels good to see everything turn out well for them in a parallel world haha.

Yeah, the last two episodes were extremely interesting, I especially loved the writing. But what bothered me, like many others, is that it didn’t really belong there lol.
Yeah, and I agree with you. Hideaki Anno is a genius director, he proved it with Evangelion. And regarding the last two episodes, he said in an interview that they were produced to explain how he himself came out of depression. Because, yes, maybe you already knew, but Evangelion served as therapy for his own depression that occurred after certain events. According to him, all the main characters represent parts of the depression he experienced, so by bringing them all together, you get a glimpse into Anno’s mind. Basically, that’s why the last two episodes weren’t a conclusion to the Evangelion anime, but rather to his personal story lol. And I respect him for that, he perfectly conveyed all of that, even though I liked it even more after The End of Evangelion, which actually gave a proper ending to the anime (the one originally intended) haha.
Yeah, and that’s exactly the complex and terrifying side of the film that I love so much. For me, it is and will always remain an unmatched masterpiece in Japanese animation.
Okay. But let me warn you, the Rebuild films also have a different ending… In fact, the story itself is modified, as you probably already knew, so he wanted to give a happy ending to all the fans who were shaken by The End.

As for new releases, there’s this one called Sentenced to Be a Hero that’s hyping everyone right now, and me too, it’s truly an incredible fantasy. And also Fate/Stranger Fake, which is THE new release I’m looking forward to the most haha.

What I loved the most, though, was the feeling of chaos you get while watching it. I don’t know if you get what I mean, but there’s this strange, almost uncomfortable feeling while watching it, and that’s precisely why I loved it so much. It represents the peak of Evangelion for many reasons, including the one I just mentioned haha.

Nice, you are serious about your work. Its very good. Because I have seen people slacking off after getting a job. I also want to follow something which I will dedicate my time. But sometimes thoughts start coming to my mind. Insecurities about future and failing to achieve my goals.
Also sorry, for the late reply.. I never reply late to anybody. But this time I was having health issues due to my hectic schedule and I had no power to get up.
I had to, my visa expired and I wanted to do everything in order and legally. So I left the country and am currently in Germany again. My plan is to enjoy Christmas at home and winding down a bit before applying for all the paperwork and going back next year!
