I stopped reading after 190, where Kinji and Hajime's fight concludes and the next stage of the plan is about to initiate. The manga is effectively on-hold.
That's right, your birthday was not too long ago. I don't remember if I was online that day to wish you a good one, so here's a happy belated one. Did you celebrate with family/friends?
It's highly likely that there will be a second cour, but 20+ episodes straight like Jujutsu Kaisen would've been preferable for maximized hype; it would've covered the entirety of CSM Part 1, and the best arcs won't be in the first cour. That cinematic trailer for the anime looked incredible, however.
Thanks man. And I haven't seen either of those anime, but I've been meaning to watch Ping Pong. I'm sure it's really good to get the acclaim it does despite its visuals. Absolutely hated Tatami Galaxy though lol, but Devilman Crybaby was alright. What made you love Ping Pong?
Facts. The thing that makes it so special is how immersive it is. The manga will look good on your shelf, since it's got the most gorgeous volume covers I've seen alongside Fire Punch's.
You might wanna check out Innocent btw. It's the GOAT Shinichi Sakamoto's other work he wrote after Kokou no Hito. The premise is very different of course because one is a psychological character-driven sports manga while the other is a historical fiction based on the French Revolution, but it still wields the essence of Sakamoto: Beautiful art, visual storytelling, elegant thematics, and immersion with psychological undertones. I got into his works thanks to this video: https://youtu.be/TDpn9fdsRbY
Kokou no Hito is one of the most beautiful works of art I've seen. Mori is probably my favorite protagonist in the whole medium; no doubt he's one of the best written ones as well. Incredible visual storytelling, atmospheric and character-driven manga with one of the best conclusions I've seen. Honestly, it's underrated and should be up there with the highest rated seinen manga. I take it the image in your bio is your favorite panel from the manga.

Bleach is peak fiction indeed.
Cool 3x3, I see a lot of kino in there.
Also, that Disney+ jail rumor might turn out to be false, since Viz mentioned a Bleach simulcast after the recent Bleach news we just got (which was fire): https://twitter.com/VIZMedia/status/1568902215049560067
