I'm a 27 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)
I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%
When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!
I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in Japan!
Ōbari action plan
Step 1: A great evil awakens
Step 2: Rockin' tits everywhere
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Giant robots will battle each other in the end.
Good to see you ended up a fellow True Logh Fan, subarashi!
According to most things only get even better after Season 1, so you are in for a real treat.
It is actually a good thing that you watched most of Gundam before starting Logh, since oftentimes one's enjoyment of other anime (especially those of a similar genre, i.e space military) can go down due to them being so vastly inferior to Logh. As you will often hear said in Logh, "Yamoen".
Also the forums for Logh have some pretty high level input in the episode discussion, so you may find it interesting to check out. A good piece of advice is to always check 1 episode behind (i.e if you are at ep 40, check out ep 39 discussion) since occasionally people discuss the previews for the next episode, which can be full of spoilers. This is due to the previews themselves being notoriously spoiler filled. I'd highly advise NOT watching the previews at the end of the episode, in case you were doing it currently, since no show has bigger spoilers in the preview than Logh. Ki o tsukete ne!
You have some good taste in your anime, in particular it's interesting how we have exactly the same rating for the Big 3 Gundams (79', Zeta, and the True Elite Masterpiece War in the Pocket).
I see you are going through Logh, and have (wisely) watched the 2 prequel movies in proper timing. I hope you enjoy it, and just ask that you give it a bit of time before "rating" it.
