I figures out what was wrong the conversation mode turned itself on somehow lol
Also I for a bit thought MAL changed but somehow the conversation view got turned on. Never used it before didnt even feel tempted to take a peak before. I had no idea it was so bad you can't even go to pages lol
I am doing great, i forgot to add you before but i saw you on the forum and remembered it haha.
And thanks for the hard work
What a coincidence, my sister watched Shinsekai Yori a few weeks ago, and it was so random and unexpected lol
I didn't tell her it was my favorite anime.
I was able to find a fan translation copy online. I normally don't read as much online (book-wise) but I am going to give it a go because since I read the manga/watched anime, it be really awesome to know the difference with the book.
How did your sister like it? That's really cool and ironic that she decided to watch it. I don't think that's ever happened to me. I usually point someone in the direction of seeing it first.
Typically, I don't usually end up watching the anime/read the books/manga for the same series. But ever since I finished it, I felt like I wanted to know because the world/society felt so warped. To me, it was more of a sense of intrigue. The mystery aspect pulls me in heavily, but it almost felt like it tricked me in for a second, like it had a familiar feeling of having some Studio Ghibli aspects, but darker. It also reminds me of a book I read in school (super old book) that always stayed with me, called the "The Chrysalids". It's also has one of those warped society type of themes, and even the outside, isn't the answer of finding that perfect haven. When I had to read it for class, I remember I was one of the only students who understood the meaning of the book.
The Promised Neverland season 1 was super good. I remember loving every minute of it. But then I got really sad learning that season 2 is not good, and it isn't even something I should check out of out morbid curiousity, because it is considered that bad. Actually you know what gave me some similar weird vibes as The Promised Neverland -- one of the few animes I watched last year and really enjoyed -- called Shadows House -- maybe you might like it as well (it has two seasons)!
The second anime you listed was one I almost picked up on watching. The premise intrigued me because I have a tendency to like darker themes that make me do a lot of thinking. So if you found that one decent to watch, I should add it on my list as well!
P.S. Editing comment, but forgot to say that I did one of the Stack challenges! The Science one. The anime I selected (The Perfect Insider) was pretty interesting, it kept my eyes glued to the screen, but it also had some themes that were unexpected.
No red spheres. Raspberries grow on a thorned vine like type plant. Yeah a lot of poisonous ones
Not yet seen Odd Taxi.
Hm I will keep that in mind though I have an endless backlog or PTW
I wonder how many acres the property I am on is. China had a long history of famines so Chinese under Mao were encouraged to eat a wide variety of meats to prevent risk of starvation. It says anarchist but is using the common meaning I think since it clearly is unrequlated capitalism.
So happy to be friends—your bio have me like "YES, A PERSON OF TASTE" hehe! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)
