As for recent anime, I think my favorite from the past few months would be "Food for the Soul" and "Rock Is a Lady's Modesty". It just hit the right mood for me, nothing too heavy, but still enjoyable enough that I looked forward to it every time. I’ve been trying to keep things simple overall, so having a show like that has been a nice little boost.

Really hope the upcoming con turns out great for you, and that you get more moments like those to balance out the tough parts of the year.

Sounds like you’ve had a pretty eventful year, honestly. Even if things have been a bit rough, having those little surprises.. new shows, games, and music definitely helps keep things fun. FF7 Rebirth and Tokyo Xtreme Racer sound like a great combo too. And conventions? That’s exciting! I hope you get the chance to go; they’re always such a nice change of pace.

Yes, that's probably how things will keep going for him. I heard he was part of a vn a couple of years ago. It's surprising to have this kind of nukige being released nowadays, since the novel industry (and even media in general) has followed patterns of what they can and cannot do in a work. But these are the more recent writers I guess. The old school ones will keep doing their thing. Actually, I am quite curious about the VNs you enjoy. I tend to be on the "peaceful" side I guess hahaha. Feel free to talk (if you want) about it. I didn't read them, but I am curious about your views about those. I also thought about reading Euphoria someday, but I feel a little unsure at the same time lol

In this time unfortunately not... I guess the only ones in the year are Carnival and Christmas. Probably the first one already revealed where I'm from already haha

And yes, the themes, colors and ghostories are a combination I am fond of. I've always enjoyed spooky themes of the sort, as long as they aren't too scary ^^
