Horizon is a pretty addicting game even without great side quests. It's a game where the combat itself is so satisfying and the world is so beautiful, that I just hop in from time to time just to fly around and kill things. Witcher 3, even though my favourite game, has a boring combat system. Hope they redesign combat in 4.

Late reply but KCD 1 is worth it. The combat is hard to get into as it's a unique system among RPGs and it's harder than even KCD 2. But both these games have a good plot with interesting side quests, something rare in RPGs. I liked Ghost of Tsushima and both the Horizon games by Guerilla. But both of them have weak side quests that are mostly just fetch, find or kill tasks. On the other hand KCDs have come very close to the Witcher 3 level of story telling with their side quests. And I cant wait to play Witcher 4 man, if it's as good as the third game, I'll be off from work for a week.

I have mixed feelings about the anime continuing. On one hand, the way the dark continent arc is going is great. On the other hand, I feel it will be used as a cop-out to bring Gon back into using Nen, which I think would be a grave mistake as I think his story was written to a very good ending.

I do wish Togashi the best in regards to his health so that he is able to complete the manga of course.

Yeah hxh is one of the ones I've read, though I'm not caught up on it rn. The other one is Death Note, which I also haven't finished. It's hard, because I like the density of HxH, but it makes it even harder to read without audio-assistance.

After uni, reading through dense textbooks + ADHD, it's hard for me to concentrate on just reading. I generally listen to books as opposed to reading them with audiobooks, or I listen to an audiobook while I read. If you are familiar with ways to 'listen' to manga so it becomes more of an audio-visual experience I'd probably get into it more.

The reason why I do not drop anything is to dispel any criticisms such as "It gets good after X episode", or "You only watched part of it so your opinion is less valid"

I do enjoy watching good media, however I believe that watching things that I think is bad or do not enjoy heightens my experience of watching things that I do enjoy. It also gives me a better perspective on what I do and do not like, and it makes me better at critique.

Unless it's something that I care about, I don't mind. For instance I really don't care so much that we aren't getting another season of "Highschool Prodigies have it easy in another world". Also, sometimes I prefer not having another season even if the source material continues.

Take for instance The Promised Neverland, the end of season 1 does end in a satisfactory way to me, and I don't really mind the ambiguous ending from the pure anime perspective.

Season 2 though ended up ruining it though, it gave too much closure alongside just in general being a badly produced season

Haha, life and work got in the way mate. And the free time I have for digital entertainment is now mostly assigned to gaming. Some very cool stories and worlds coming out lately in RPGs. Completed both KCDs and Expedition 33 recently. Now DS2 is releasing next month. So gaming has taken over the time that movies and anime occupied.

Nope, I was just lost at sea for a few years. When I arrived home my family told me about this thing called covid. I wonder what that is?
